stretches smooth
quiet
like the silence
that wraps
this space
where hopes
once danced
upon countertops
Snow
where angels
lay with
wings wide
whispering of
tomorrows
never seen
halos erased
on icy breath
Snow
melting
like those
dreams
cold rivulets
of loss
storm drain bound
swirling
out to sea
